What's Inside

  • Who This Cohort Is Designed For

Who This Cohort Is Designed For

Women in corporate, women of color and first- and second-generation professionals. Many of us were never taught how to navigate the unwritten rules of corporate America, and we're working in a system that wasn't built with us in mind.

We were taught to work hard but nobody taught us how promotion decisions actually get made.

Good work gets noticed by some people and missed by others, strong feedback doesn't come with a timeline, and decisions are often made months before your review, in rooms you're not in.

This cohort is for you, so you know how promotions work, have a plan for navigating your company, your manager, and your leadership, and have it in motion before your next review cycle.

Who It's For

Women going for a manager, senior manager, or senior individual contributor (IC) role, or becoming a first-time people manager.

Not For

This cohort won't be the right fit if you're looking to explore a career pivot. Private 1:1 coaching may be a better fit. Learn more about private coaching.

What You'll Learn

Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT / 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET.

Every week, you leave with something in hand.

Week 1: How Promotions Get Decided, Plus Your Criteria, Approvers, and Roadmap - November 19, 2026

A clear understanding of the requirements, who decides, and your ideal scenario, plus the promotion criteria in writing, the list of people who approve it, and your roadmap to the role, so you can have that first conversation ASAP

Week 2: The Manager Conversation, Scripted and Role-Played - December 3, 2026

The exact words to start the conversation with your manager, practiced out loud, so you walk in knowing what to say

Week 3: Progress Check-In and Open Coaching - December 10, 2026

An audit of how your manager conversation went: what they said you need to show, who else decides, and whether you got a real yes or a "keep doing great." Plus live coaching on whatever is blocking you.

Week 4: The Business Case: Speaking to Your Achievements and Showcasing Your Value - December 17, 2026

A one-page business case: how to speak to your achievements, showcase your value, and position yourself

Week 5: Executive Presence, Decoded, and Your Leadership Ecosystem - January 7, 2027

Executive presence, decoded. Learn what it means to the people deciding your promotion, without changing who you are. Plus a stakeholder map of who needs to see your work, and how to be strategic about visibility when you're uncomfortable being visible.

Week 6: Making the Ask, Again, With Evidence - January 14, 2027

You've already opened the conversation. Now you ask again, with more evidence and a clearer target, because one conversation is rarely the whole ask. You leave with your follow-up ask script for title, timeline, and approvers, plus a plan for the touchpoints between now and a definite answer.

Week 7: Pushback, Stalls, and Plan B - January 21, 2027

A plan for the answer you don't want: how to handle pushback and stalls, and when to move to Plan B. You'll leave with a strategy, a plan, and a clear read on where you stand on promotion, or a Plan B if it's time to change roles or companies.

Week 8: Your 90-Day Plan - January 28, 2027

Your next 90 days: what to do once you're promoted, what to do while you're waiting, and how to put Plan B in motion if you need it

No sessions Thu Nov 26 (Thanksgiving), Dec 24, or Dec 31 (holiday break).

What's Included

8 Live Trainings:

Each training kicks off with teaching on a topic, then opens up for Q&A. The teaching is customized to the members of the cohort, based on your early submissions: your circumstances, stories, questions, and challenges.

Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT / 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET

November 19, 2026 to January 28, 2027.

Tools You Can Use Right Away:

Before and after each session, you'll receive scripts and worksheets on how to speak to your work and your value, showcase your wins, and build your version of executive presence without losing who you are.

You'll also get tools to navigate difficult conversations, make your ask land (even if you've tried before), audit how your conversations are going, and audit whether your promotion is viable.

Built Around Who's in the Room:

I build the cohort and the learning around the members.

You'll get feedback on your submissions through Loom videos and on the live calls, customized to your questions and situation.

In auditory, visual, and written formats.

I take into account how my clients learn, many of whom are neurodivergent leaders (as well as myself).

A Shared Slack Group:

Ask questions between sessions, get support on how your conversations are going, and integrate what you're learning.
I respond within 1 to 2 business days.

Recordings for 30 Days After the Cohort Ends:

My most successful clients rewatch the lessons to integrate the coaching and keep building these skills well into the future.

Anonymity Built In:

I'll know who you are, but if you'd like to keep your name, company, or any other details private from the group, you're welcome to.

Use a different name on Zoom and Slack, and share only what you're comfortable sharing.

Who I Work With

My clients work across tech, e-commerce, retail, banking, healthcare, education, nonprofit, media, legal, and government, in roles from marketing and product to engineering, operations, sales, and finance.

They come from Fortune 500 companies and startups, and most have non-linear backgrounds.

"I'm a badass director now, and I have a lot of gratitude towards you for being in my corner and helping me be seen and feel seen."

Director level leader

"Dani is an amazing coach who has been a great help to me. Working with her feels like having a cheerleader in your corner who won't let you quit and a friend who will always be there to pull you up when you keep falling. Before I started working with Dani, I was feeling lost and unsure about how to navigate my career. I knew I wanted a promotion, but I wasn't sure how to achieve it. After just four sessions with her, I felt empowered and motivated to take control of my career and make the changes I needed to succeed."

More From Clients

"I executed on what [Dani] told me to do, and within a couple of months I got the promotion, after it had been stalled for several months."

"I have learned how to network and how to pitch myself to founders and CEOs, and how to figure things out in a way that is efficient and effective."

A leader in Health Tech

"Having the evidence bank is really nice to go back to and add/remind myself of what I've done. This will help when pursuing new things going forward that I might not think I'm ready for yet."

About Dani

I'm a leadership coach, speaker, and founder of She Belongs Here. I started my career as a sample coordinator making $45,000 a year. I earned 11 promotions in 11 years, made five career pivots across PR, sales, merchandising, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship, and became a Vice President at a billion-dollar company earning $250,000 a year.

I'm first-gen and Asian Latina, and I know what it's like to learn the unwritten rules of corporate America. I also know what it means to count every penny: I paid off $25K in student loan debt and taught myself financial literacy. Today, I'm financially set for early retirement, so I coach because I love helping women create the same options for themselves. I've spent the years since studying the rules so the women I coach don't have to.

Clients tell me I'm a mix of facts and feelings, and that I bring structure and systems and use data and evidence to make strategic decisions. I can build structure even where a company has none, from startups to legacy companies.

I've also partnered with organizations including HACE, Morning Brew, Baddies in Tech, and Comcast.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the cohort and 1:1 coaching?

1:1 coaching is private, one-on-one work with me. The cohort teaches the same proven frameworks and strategies in a group format, with live sessions. You can send in your questions ahead of time so the teaching fits where you are. It's a great first step if you're not ready to make the jump to 1:1. If you'd rather skip group learning and go straight to 1:1, you can learn more about private coaching. Not sure which is right for you? Text the word COHORT to 833-966-4974, then tell me where you are, and I'll make a recommendation.

What results can I expect?

This cohort is designed around promotion cycle timing and the requirements of organizations and companies. You'll leave with a strategy, a plan, and a clear read on where you stand on promotion, or a Plan B if it's time to change roles or companies.

What if I'm considering a new role or company?

In the cohort, we cover Plan B, including changing roles or companies. If you're actively job searching right now, this cohort isn't the right fit yet.

What if I want to keep my details private?

Anonymity is built in. I'll know who you are, but if you'd like to keep your name, company, or any other details private from the group, you're welcome to. Use a different name on Zoom and Slack, and you're never required to name your employer. Personal questions and Q&A are not shared. If you'd like to share your company or role, that's your choice too.

Will this fit where I am in my career?

Each week is built around what you bring. Send in your questions ahead of time, and you get feedback on your own promotion path.

What kinds of clients do you work with?

Women in corporate going for manager, senior manager, or senior IC roles, across tech, e-commerce, retail, banking, healthcare, education, nonprofit, media, and more. Most have non-linear backgrounds, and so does mine.

What if I can't make certain dates?

My clients have packed schedules. Many are busy parents and professionals who are strong at time management and working asynchronously. If that's you, this cohort is set up so you can still get all the value without showing up live. Every week is recorded, you can send in your work for feedback, and recordings stay available for 30 days after the cohort ends on January 28, 2027.

Should I wait, or is now the right time?

Promotion decisions are made months in advance, so you can never start this conversation too early. It's better to get it kicked off now than to push it to later and lose time to the next promotion cycle. This is the only cohort I have scheduled right now, and I haven't set the next one, so I can't promise a seat or this price later.

Will we practice, or is it all theory?

Both. Each week mixes teaching with live Q&A, and we work through scripts and role plays so you rehearse the conversation before you have it.

I'm in a different time zone. Will this work for me?

Yes. My clients have packed schedules and they're strong at working asynchronously. This cohort is set up so you can get the value without showing up live, wherever you are. I coach clients internationally, in any time zone.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Two payments: the first at enrollment, the second 30 days later.

Are there refunds or guarantees?

There are no refunds or guarantees. While our results are based on client data, our Terms and Conditions acknowledge that various factors can influence outcomes. We cannot make guarantees and will not offer any refunds.

You've already proven you can do the work. Now make sure the decision reflects it.
